I think the pace was a bit fast for Paul as he was not talking as much on the way back. Then again, it could have merely been the cold that stifled conversation. 12 degrees and it felt even colder.

| Ogden Half Marathon @ 8:11/mi pace (sub 8:00/mi pace w/o stops). Ran with Brent. Rained start to finish with cold but comfortable temps. Started running with Brent for first 4-5 miles and waited thru a couple of water stops for him. After waiting at the second water stop I left Brent and ran my own race. Overall time could have been improved by 4+ minutes with no extra effort merely by eliminating the waiting. Felt strong thru the end and had fastest miles at the end of the race.
